Client Case Study: Pavilion Theatre

After a successful run of shows, the Pavilion Theatre decided to put on extra shows of ‘Allo ‘Allo. Without a promotional budget, PMPR were tasked to drum-up ticket sales for the new shows at short notice. PMPR sent an invitation to then FIFA boss Sepp Blatter, who also happened to be the former President of the World Society of Friends of Suspenders. The invite generated significant media coverage and the tickets for the extra shows all sold-out.

The Daily Record covering the Pavilion Theatre’s invitation to FIFA’s World Football supremo, President Sepp Blatter (who also happens to be the former President of the World Society of Friends of Suspenders) to the Pavilion’s production of ‘Allo, ‘Allo.

Will Sepp come to see us?

We’re in suspenders ’ALLO, ’ALLO, vot’s all zis ... just why is sexy Simone Lucas flashing her seductive suspenders and apparently giving the come-on to FIFA president Sepp Blatter? The answer is the saucy comedy ’Allo ’Allo opens in Glasgow today – and theatre bosses hope he will fly in to see it. Football’s top man is a former president of the Worldwide Society of Friends of Suspenders and has been invited to the Pavilion Theatre as guest of honour. Theatre bosses hope the sight of Simone – who plays Michelle in the show and is girlfriend of Scotsport’s Julyan Sinclair– will be too much for Sepp, 69, to resist. A Pavilion spokesman said: “The invite is a bit of fun really but we’re hoping he comes.

Client Testimonial

Iain Gordon, Manager of Pavilion Theatre comments:

“I employed PMPR in November 2003 by the start of January 2004 my profits were up by over £200,000. The only thing I had done differently from 2002 was engage PMPR. PMPR is my first choice of agency, unequalled in their field.”
